About Mimi

Mimi is a student of the MICH Academy for Holism and Classical Homeopathy. She is finishing her 3rd year of a 4-year diploma program, studying to become a holistic practitioner and classical homeopath.

Born and raised in Woodstock, NY, Mimi was surrounded by alternative therapies and holistic medicine, including herbal remedies and homeopathy. At 16, she became pregnant and chose to have an unmedicated birth at home.

Determined to build a strong foundation for herself and her daughter, she began taking classes at her local community college and then attended the State University of New York at New Paltz, receiving her bachelors degree in Philosophy in 2007. She then went on to attend Northeastern University School of Law in Boston and obtained her Juris Doctorate in 2012.

Throughout her educational path, Mimi has maintained a deep rooted passion to help remove barriers to health. After obtaining her law degree, she volunteered at a variety of non-profits focused on environmental justice and equitable housing. She then partnered with a law firm to hold major food corporations accountable for false and deceptive advertising of product labels. Then in 2014, Mimi began working at her city’s public health department and then transitioned to her state’s health and human services agency.

After taking an online course on administering homeopathic remedies at home and seeing phenomenal results with family and friends, Mimi’s passion for holistic health and homeopathy was reinvigorated. She feels called to work more individually to help change people’s lives directly.
